Koji Igarashi’s desire to release a new game in 2025
In an exclusive Famitsu interview, Koji Igarashi, the creator of the Castlevania and Bloodstained games, who currently works at ArtPlay, revealed some interesting information about his plans. One of them is his desire or ambition to be able to release a new game in 2025.
At the time this article was written (3/1), IGA did not mention what game he was making or wanted to release in 2025. However, if we look back at 2021, IGA stated that there would be a sequel to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
However, until now there has been no further explanation regarding this game. However, ArtPlay has previously added several updates such as DLC.
Hope in 2025
IGA also stated that he would be very busy this year. Apart from that, one of his colleagues, Shutaro Iida, is also battling cancer, which is certainly very surprising. However, IGA will not give up, he will continue to try hard while hoping that his colleague will recover soon.

A lot has happened this year (2024) and I have been busy. However, it feels like I haven’t made much progress than planned, which has become a difficult situation. Especially with the news that Shutaro was suddenly ill. I hope he can recover, but I also have to be able to move forward.
