Himeko Nova Honkai’s Best Build: Star Rail

Himeko Nova is a B5 Fire character who follows the Path of Erudition. Released in version 4.4, he comes in the midst of a very strong Meta Elation. Usually, the character goes inside games in this situation, it is prone to being left behind as Meta develops. But with the unique and new mechanics at his disposal, it seems like those worries can be avoided for the long term. Check out the full explanation in Build Himeko Nova Honkai: Star Rail below.

Gameplay

Himeko Nova is basically DPS characterwhich is strong in Multi-Target situations, and can compete against Single-Target enemies. He will create his own Domain, which will summon giant robots to attack enemies. Later, this robot can be “borrowed” by other characters, to make money damage.

What makes Himeko Nova very unique is her ability which is tied to the Faction system. If you are familiar with games Another HoYoverse called Zenless Zone Zero, this aspect is mechanical cores which makes team formation more focused. For Himeko Nova who comes from Faction “Trailblaze” while continuing Path Trailblazer’s determination, the robot will have 2 modesdepending on what characters are on the team.

It could even be said, how to play Himeko Nova when fighting is much easier than understanding its unique mechanics and arranging its build and team build. This is also because in the Trailblaze group itself, the members are quite diverse and do not have truly harmonious synergy. The characters in question include Welt, Sunday, Dan Heng and his variants, March 7th and his variants, and of course Trailblazer/MC (Caelus & Stelle) along with all the paths that are already open. Uniquely, the regular version of Himeko also falls into this category.

Even though there are still many mechanics that Himeko Nova has, what you need to pay attention to is a mechanic called “Assist Skills“. This mechanic is the first in HSR, which allows other characters to activate Himeko’s Skill on their turn, as a replacement for their own Skill or Basic ATK. In other words, if a character on the team feels there is no need to use his Skill, then Himeko Nova can act through their turn.

Talent

Upon entering the arena, Himeko Nova creates a special Domain, which summons a giant robot and grants the “Assist Skill” ability to all characters on the team. This type of skill can be used to make the robot attack the enemy.

Using an Assist Skill will be considered as using a Himeko Skill, and passively Himeko Nova gets 20% RES PEN and 80% Crit DMG. Every time another character uses an Assist Skill, Himeko Nova gets 4 energy.

The attack will also ignore the type of Toughness, and if it successfully breaks Toughness, the Fire Weakness Break effect will be triggered.

Assist Skills

Launches a Fire attack on all enemies, followed by 3 follow-up Fire attacks.

Based on fellow Trailblazers on the team, Himeko Nova gets different modes, which affect her and other characters’ stats, as well as the type of follow-up attacks produced, namely:

Companion Protocol: Verdict (MC, Dan Heng, Sunday)

Himeko Nova’s attacks deal 110% DMG and an additional 110% Ultimate DMG. After 2 Ultimate activations from other characters, 1 Assist Skill will be triggered automatically.

Companion Protocol: Decimation (Welt, Himeko, March 7th, Evernight)

In this mode, all characters get a bonus Crit DMG% and Skill Crit DMG%. Every enemy attacked by another character has +1 Charge. If Charge reaches 9, then Charge will be consumed automatically, and 1 Assist Skill will be triggered.

After using the Skill, all characters on the team get another Assist Skill and all characters on the team get it buff 20% DMG Bonus for 3 rounds.

Ultimate

Take over the giant robot “Starblazer” which can launch attacks 6 times. There will be 2 types of attacks that can be used during this mode, namely Hyperluminal Particle Beam and Orbital Annihilation Pulse.

Basically, Hyperluminal Particle Beam will produce 1 Source Energy per attack, and Orbital Annihilation Pulse is an attack that consumes Source Energy (ideally consumes 3 Source Energy)

Trace Ascension 2 When Himeko Nova uses her own Assist Skill, she will not consume the Assist Skill quota. At the start of the round, if the Assist Skill usage is equal to its maximum limit, then +5 energy.
Trace Ascension 4 If a Trailblaze partner uses an Assist Skill, that character will get 1 extra round after activating their own Ultimate.
Trace Ascension 6 When you activate Ultimate, you immediately get 3 Source Energy. If you consume 3 Source Energy, the next Orbital Annihilation Pulse attack will increase by 30% to 1 random enemy.

Level priority

  1. Ultimate & Talent
  2. Skills
  3. Basic ATK (optional)

Light Cone

Here are a number of Light Cones that you can use:

Signature: A Star that Lights the Night

Her Light Cone Signature is designed to maximize Himeko Nova’s potential, because there are conditions that require Assist Skills, which other characters don’t have. Apart from improving aspects damage, such as the Assist Skill DMG bonus, Ultimate DMG, and DEF waiver, this LC will also fill the user’s energy every time an Assist Skill is triggered. This means that Himeko Nova will activate her Ultimate more often when using this LC than when using the alternative LC.

Into the Unreachable Veil

Another alternative that can be used is The Herta’s Light Cone Signature. This Light Cone increases the user’s Skill and Ultimate DMG, and is able to replenish 1 SP. The Crit Rate bonus in LC is also very useful for Himeko Nova.

Night on the Milky Way

Fortunately, the LC that Himeko uses as a standard character can still be used by Himeko Nova. Stat-wise, this LC is definitely superior to its LC B4 variation. Then, considering that the standard version of Himeko is designed to excel in AoE situations, this LC will also maximize this aspect for Himeko Nova when using this LC.

Today is Another Peaceful Day

Entering option B4, you can use the Light Cone from the Battle Pass, because of its passive effect which can convert energy into DMG%. Considering Himeko Nova’s very high energy capacity, this LC can provide a high permanent DMG% bonus too.

The Day the Cosmos Fell / The Seriousness of Breakfast

Enter the B4 F2P option, you can use these two Light Cones, depending on the situation. If you face an enemy with Fire Weakness, LC Cosmos can be used, while LC Breakfast is better, if Himeko Nova manages to defeat the enemy at the start of the battle to get an ATK% bonus until the battle ends.

Relic Set

Here are a number of Relics that you can use:

As Navigator Isee Sees It

This relic was specially designed for Himeko Nova, because it can increase Skill & Ultimate DMG by up to 54% very quickly. The ATK% bonus in the 2-pc bonus is also pretty good for Himeko Nova who has a permanent Crit DMG bonus in skillkit-his.

Scholar Lost in Erudition

As an Erudition character who has similar needs to The Herta, he can still use this set. This Relic increases Skill & Ultimate DMG% permanently, as well as a Crit Rate bonus which really helps meet the Crit stat requirements.

Wavestrider Captain

This Relic might be an interesting option, although in theory, buff provided only lasts 1 turn. Later in the Himeko Nova team, make sure to have 1 character buffers (usually the Harmony character) to activate its passive effect.

Main Stats:

  • Body: Crit Rate/DMG%
  • Feet: ATK%
  • Planar Spheres: Fire DMG% / ATK%
  • Rope Links: ATK%

Substate priority: Crit Rate/DMG > ATK% > SPD

Planar Sets

Here are a number of Planar Sets that you can use:

Fallen Star Anchorage

Just like the Relic, Himeko Nova also received a Planar Set specially designed for her. This planar can give the user 8% Crit Rate and 32% Crit DMG, provided there must be another Trailblazer character on the team. Because that’s basically it skills-kit-If it requires another Trailblazer character, then this requirement will be very easy to fulfill.

Team & Character Synergy

As mentioned previously, Himeko Nova needs another Trailblazer character in the team, so players need to find a balance between Trailblazer characters and non-Trailblazer Support characters. Generally, this team will consist of 2 Trailblazer characters and 1 other character.

Examples of Trailblazer characters that are often used are Sunday, Welt, Dan Heng PT, and Remembrance MC. Each of these characters has different abilities, giving Himeko Nova a lot of gameplay variety.

Sunday and RMC’s role is as buffers, Crit DMG, and is able to give Action Advance to Himeko Nova. Then Dan Heng PT is a Sustain character who also serves as buffers. The only difference is Welt, who acts as the second DPS, at the same time buffers, which changed Himeko Nova’s game into a Dual DPS team.

Meanwhile, for non-Trailblazer characters, there are choices such as Mortenax Blade, Cerydra, Sparkle, and Huohuo. These four characters can be alternatives to all Trailblaze characters, depending on their role.

Firstly, Mortenax Blade can be said to be the most difficult to replace, because its ability to increase Ultimate DMG is very strong and beneficial for Himeko Nova, so allocating 1 place for him will not really affect Himeko Nova’s performance. Then, there are also options buffers like Cerydra or Sparkle. The last one is Huohuo which can increase energy and ATK, if Dan Heng PT is not available.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
